Final Disco Tray Post

It’s the last one! Super bittersweet. To be honest, making these blog posts was never my favorite, but it’s cool to look back on how much I have done and see what I was thinking while going through some tumultuous moments during projects. Would I have a blog while working on a solo project in the future? I don’t know, maybe. We will see when the time comes!

This week, I FINALLY got the filtering to work on the Request Form page. There was a lot of disconnected logic for some reason, but I figured out it was due to inconsistency in my naming of IDs and names for HTML elements and linking that to the backend in C#. Finally, though, it is done, and I imagine it will be my last major contribution not just to this project but, unfortunately, to Disco Tray as a whole.

Disco Tray has been one of the best experiences I have ever received regarding actual expereince in the workplace and making a difference in peoples’ lives. This kind of thing is exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life. It has been a great honor to work with everyone on the team and to make these projects come to life for those who need them. Thank you, Dr. Goadrich, for this opportunity–it made my college experience so much more worth it.
